the predicted temperature for the advertised day of the event is to be 35 degrees Celsius or above.
There is a CATASTROPHIC fire warning for the local area (even If the temperature is not predicted to be 35 degrees Celsius)
The automatic cancellation will occur upon the release of the weather forecast for the local area, 2 days prior to the advertised day UNLESS conditions are deemed to beCATASTROPHIC the day before in which case cancellation will automatically occur. This will enable SEDA to contact judges and volunteers in advance causing less disruptions to people.
If for some reason the weather is cooler on the day than predicted or the fire rating for the day is downgraded on the day, the event will remain cancelled.
As a competitor it is your responsibility to be aware of this policy as you will not be individually contacted.
All entry fees will be automatically refunded so there is no need to contact SEDA unless your payment is not returned.
Due to our busy yearly schedule, it is unlikely that the event will be rescheduled as a free date would be hard to find.
